Dream of Dionysos

Dream of Dionysos is one of the themes which grown out from my Psychic Space series. Dionysos is the greek god of wine, love and pleasure. Nietzsche in one of his famous works speaks about dionysian and apollonian world.  Apollo stands for beauty, order, harmony, love, progress, serenity, calmness and individualism while Dionysus stands for ugliness, disorder, hatred, passion, emotion, intoxication and group.Everything that is part of the unique individuality of man or thing is Apollonian in character. Drunkenness and madness are Dionysian because they break down a man’s individual character; all forms of enthusiasm and ecstasy are Dionysian, for in such states man gives up his individuality and submerges himself in a greater whole.
