Melancholy
By the examination of my new series “Melancholy” my usual way of working had slowed. So after several psychological examinations, which I am doing on myself, I began to prioritise a completely different painting and working method, which had a great effect on my relations to the substances. Compared to the older series the size was increased to monumental and the “oil on canvas” technique had been changed to “tempera on paper”. New materials offer a better approach to study the melancholy, as I believe, I can depict the psychic projection of the melancholy first as association of intense humour flow (blood, urine), where quantity and size play an important role. The vertical image was replaced by a horizontal painting method and in my new series there is no longer a falling state to be discovered, but the horizontal spreading, a flowing, swirling “fire condition”. So far my method of working, which is characterized by meditative imaginated conditions deepened.
Experimentations on Movements
I was looking for the limits of my painting with the performance art, the new field in my working. What I am searching for in the performance, are the limits of the body and the psyche. At the end of the acts experienced as projections of the conventional imaging process are so called “monumental pictures” formed, which could be translated or seen as exhibited objects. My plan is to exhibit my performance-based pictures also with video and photo creations in the future.

PIN Project 2012-2013
PIN Project is a performance series experimenting on human history, space, rhythm and body. It's created by Andrea Ladányi dancer and choreographer, Gergő Borlai drummer and me. It tells the story of Andrea, who after leaving Hungary went to Finland and America finding his place and emotions in the world. "Leave the place to which you belong. Replace yourself in a new field. Have a dialogue alone to each other. Scream out with a mute body and loud instruments. " My aim during the process was to widen the limits of my art and find a way to transmit my feeling to an other person and make her able to work with it. We performed our project in Nyíregyháza, Veszprém and Barcelona.
Barcelona 2013
In 2013 within the frame of an internship program I had a possibility to work and create six months in the beautiful city, Barcelona. Receiving a residency in NauArt Artfactory I continued my experimentations on the series "Melancholy". I painted small paperworks which I installed afterwards as collages. One of my artwork was selected for the exhibition "Artistas del Pouble Nau".
